Hey There,
Tom Long, Johnson MBA Class of 2012, is looking for interns for his NYC-based startup. Please see below info from Tom, and contact him directly with any questions.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Cheers,
Rhett
Are you a karaoke fan? Love cat memes? Like designing cool mobile games? All of the above?
We could use some help creating a social gaming platform for karaoke. You can help us create a kickstarter campaign, build the game, design the art, generate awesome ideas, research the market, etc..
We are looking for a few people right away, and we may have opportunities that start or extend into the school year. Time commitment is part-time, and depends on your availability.
We built a prototype at an NYC startup weekend using cat avatars to sing karaoke. The idea and the product have evolved a bit, but ultimately we want to create an avatar-based collaborative singing game.
Here is a link to our startup weekend pitch (crappy quality but funny)

The current game is web-based and built in node.js and flash, but we are working to transition to mobile.
We are self-funded and can't pay yet, but we may have future paid positions available and could discuss options and such depending on what you can contribute.
We are currently a team of 3 (2 cornelians and 1 columbia student) based in NYC.
Contact me directly if you are interested.
Thanks,
Tom
