Trial Saturday Session 2

Registration is first-come first-serve at the event itself, and we'll be accepting about 30 attendees at a time (i.e. if someone leaves by 9, another can take their place) depending on how many rooms are available on that day. In case we run out of slots, people who register through this page will have higher priority compared to walk-in attendees.

Entrance is free, we only ask you to help us gather info by writing down the song you sang in a log book. Of course, you're also welcome to pitch in with the food and drinks.

Tips

• List down the songs you want to sing beforehand.

Please refer to this article (http://karaoke.karaniwan.org/articles/how-to-find-working-japanese-songs-in-kumyoungs-site) on how to find song numbers.

• Store the lyrics of those songs in your phone/tablet. (Karaoke lyrics are displayed on screen in furigana, not romaji)

Apart from being ready for the possibility of getting poor 3G signal on your phone, preparing the lyrics before the event allows you to check if those lyrics are correct.

I would suggest using a note taking app like Evernote, but crude solutions (like emailing yourself lyrics) can be just as effective.

• Bring a power bank so you can keep reading lyrics/taking pictures/videos all night.

How to get to Golden House Family KTV

Walking from Megamall: cross the street to St Francis Square and follow Julia Vargas Ave (the road between the 2 Megamall buildings) up to Caltex. The KTV should be visible to your left across Meralco Ave.

Walking from Robinson's Galleria: follow Ortigas Ave until Meralco Ave. You can either cross now, turn right, and walk along Meralco Ave, passing by Metrowalk; or you can turn right now and walk along Meralco Ave and cross the street (under the flyover) when you get in front of the KTV.
