SEO Meetup - Keyword Selection - Getting Inside Your Customers Buying Mind
This is not a topic we have talked about very much, but it was inspired by a recent coaching session I had with a DIY client. They really weren't taking advantage of the keywords in in the customer's mind.
We'll discuss:
- Keyword Tools, Free and Paid.
- Misspellings
- Compound and Individual Words
- Singular vs Plural
- Negative Keywords (for your Pay Per Click)
- Long Tail Keyword Phrases

Yes there is a nominal fee, and that helps us cover the costs of the meeting space. Our group has grown to such a large size, we have opted to use a facility that allows us to bring our own food and beverage in, as well as offers us wi-fi services.

Mark RamosMichelle is very knowledgeable and most of all engaging :) The group overall consists of very savvy marketers who are happy to share their experiences and expertise. There are certain members (Don *ahem*) that definitely gave this Meetup group a different flavor in a good way, hehe. I definitely picked up a nugget or two from Michelle's presentation plus comments by members in the group. My only regret was I wasn't able to connect more with others in the group because there just isn't enough time!
