Yosemite National Park Workshops
James Corwin Johnson
I have joined James on five workshops in Yosemite National Park in the last five years. After my first trip in the spring of 2007 I found that I had such a good experience that I had to return. Since my first trip I have also returned in the winter. I have found that the experience in the park changes with the seasons. Each season has its own beauty.
James, with his years of experience as a resident photographer in the park, has a wealth of knowledge which he willingly shares. He has a pleasant and easy style which he uses to teach. He can as easily instruct beginners as experienced shooters. He also has an intimate familiarity with the park and uses it to take the group to the best locations, depending on the light and weather, to capture the grandeur of the park.
The weeks experience in Yosemite is one I highly recommend to all my friends. The accommodations are at a private home (part of a bed & breakfast) located in Yosemite West. The home has five individual bedrooms, each with a private bath, a large Great Room and full kitchen. James and the group occupy the full house. The Great Room is used for meals, group discussions and critiques. My experience has been that the camaraderie developed on the trips continues long after.

Anyone wishing to photograph Yosemite would find that a trip with James Corwin Johnson is truly a great opportunity. I would be more than willing to discuss my experience with James in Yosemite anytime.
