Hello Everyone:
Welcome to Japan Club, Japanese Sake & Language Enthusiasts!
Let's learn Basic Japanese language, get together, mingle and most importantly "have fun"!
If you are thinking of visiting Japan for sightseeing, career in Japan, or just want to learn Japanese language, but can not progress well by yourself, this is the place to start.
Class room setting meetup:
For Basic Japanese course, we use the text book "Japanese for Busy People". Picture of this text book can be seen in this link: http://www.amazon.com/Japanese-Busy-People-Romanized-Vers...![]()
You can also find this text book @ Kinokuniya on 6th Avenue, cross from Bryant Park.
Please note the fee is $10 per person.
For Intermediate Level Course please join http://www.meetup.com/Konnichiwa/
Restaurant/Bar meetup:
We would like to explore many restaurants/bars preferably the one to make our members to feel like being in Japan. . We just would like to have fun, would like our members to mingle, make friends, find language partners etc. Organizers are spending time to explore these places to schedule the event. So please try to be on time. If you will be late, please let us know as it is very important for us to have accurate number of people attending.
We are NOT charging any fees from members to participate. You only need to pay your own drinks and foods.
Most of the meetup will be the combination of other 2 or 3 Japan related meetup groups. You will have a plenty of chance to meet people. So come on and join us!
RSVP policy
If you RSVP "Yes" but if it turns out that you can't make that event, please change your RSVP promptly so that other members can sign up.
Other policies:
- Guest is always welcomed. Just please specify the number of guests you bring when you RSVP.
