Introductory kickoff

Hello, all,

I'm looking very forward to meeting and talking with all of you. Meetup is a new thing for me, and I hope our scheduling will work out for as many of you as possible.

I'm initially planning for us to meet at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in Pearland Town Center at 288 and 518. The B&N is on the southwest side of 288 and 518. I've found a few useful books they carry and hope it'll spark good conversation.

They're also opening a new sushi bar across from the bookstore that we can pop in for a bite if people are interested...I don't know much about the place or if it is open yet. Also, there's a bigger Hibachi/ Sushi place called "Sakura" that we might be able to head over to just across 518. I met one of their chefs who is from Hokkaido a couple of months ago.
