A year 2008 is the 150th anniversary of Friendship treaty between France and Japan and our friendship between Japan and France is wil continue and will develop and diversify further more.
As one of many expats Japanese living in Paris, I would like to take those opportunity to discover my country from the point of view like a foreigner, but also I would like help you to enrich your knowledge of Japan. We have more than GEISHA and GAME BOY in our culture and more than SUSHI and YAKITORI in our gastronomy. It is always amazing to meet non-Japanese who knows about my country what I do not know about.
You are welcome to join me on this discovery tour and learn more about Japan, together. The aim of this group is to discover Japan and its culture and get some travel hints for ones who are planning to make a trip to Japan, but it is not going to be language exchange or Japanese language practicing place as there are other meetups in Paris who helps in those field. Events are going to be ogranized in small group, such as minimum one person and less than 10 persons to make this group real face-to-face community.

12th of month is considered as TOFU DAY.
Why? There are sounds of TOU(number 10
counting in Japanese in old fashioned manner)
and FU (number 2) hence, they claim 12th is
