I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:

When: Thursday, June 14,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Blue Moon Burgers (Fremont)
703 North 34th Street
Seattle, WA 98103

This week we're stopping in lower Fremont to nibble on oversized Northwest-sourced beef, one of two house-made veggie burgers, a salmon patty, turkey burgers, or, this month only, a buttermilk fried chicken "burger".

I want to be self-indulgent and drink the shake of the month, pina colada. But you may be more into their local beer of the month, Emerald City Ivana Pale Lager.

We don't really have a reservation, but they know we're coming. Look for Hiromi and Jason, who plan to show up a few minutes early. Order food at the counter and join us. If you're the type to go to bed early, note that this week won't require you to wait for us to settle the bill; you can pay before you even sit down. You can even bring plastic.

Because it's Fremont, parking can be a bit frustrating, but the area along the ship canal west of Fremont Ave along 34th and 35th, and Fremont Ave itself north of 36th has fairly passable options.

Bus access is super easy with routes 26 or 28, and a leisurely stroll from places that 5, 358, and 16 stop.

Nijikai will probably be at El Camino or Showa, depending on whether you're feeling like wearing a sombrero or drinking shochu.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)
