Thursday's Meetup @ Paddy Coynes Pier 70 (waterfront)

From: Jason T.

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing:
http://www.meetup.com/JapaneseSeattle/events/196252502/

When: Thursday, July 31,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Paddy Coyne's Pier 70
2801 Alaskan Way
Seattle, WA 98121

This week, we're at a an Irish joint on the waterfront near the sculpture park at the northern tip of Alaskan Way.

You can order a typical fish & chips, a vegetarian mushroom stew, various burgers, or an Irish Shepherd's Pie, or, if you're so inclined, a Fisherman Pie (white stew) made with salmon and cod. The menu is a mix of Irish, Irish-American, and American fare.

We'll order food separately, and they will do their best to manage separate tabs, but things will likely go faster if you bring cash. Prices are moderate, with many items at the $11-15-ish range and a few things that are fancier.

Bus access is easy with route 99 or many Queen Anne/Magnolia-bound routes, including 1, 2, 13, 19, 24 and 33.

Nijikai may be at Some Random Bar or Bathtub Gin Co, unless some other Belltown denizen has a better idea.

I'm planning to pre-kai at Rob Roy sometime a little after 6pm, which is one of my favorite spots for happy hour cocktails. Happy hour there runs from 4-7 if you feel like popping in, and there are usually plenty of Goldfish crackers if you need them.

This Meetup repeats every week on Thursday.

If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Yes".)
