Take your app to the next step - Work offline

Rich offline experiences, background syncs, push notifications - functionality that would normally require a native application, are now available for your site/app as well.

Service workers provide the technical foundation that all these features.

Service worker allow users to consume your application even when they are offline, Service worker is a kind of Event Web Worker. Events that correspond to network requests are dispatched to the worker and the responses generated by the worker may over-ride default network stack behavior. This puts the service worker, conceptually, between the network and a document renderer, allowing the service worker to provide content for documents, even while offline.

In this lecture we’ll review the main capabilities of RethinkDB, see some code samples, usage samples, and see what this beast can do for you!
