Gypsy jazz with Hot Club of Hawthorne

Details
Enjoy happy hour drinks and/or dinner at Jam's with Hot Club of Hawthorne’s gypsy jazz and vintage swing.
The Hot Club of Hawthorne (http://jeffree.info/gypsyjazz) was named after French gypsy jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt's group the Hot Club of France Quintet, which itself was named after the "Hot Clubs" which were European jazz appreciation societies in the 1930s. There have been countless "Hot Club" bands since then.
The repertoire consists of gypsy jazz standards including Django originals, swing tunes mostly from the 20s and 30s, some Latin numbers, and a few comedic film soundtrack songs. The group is a collective of many musicians -- including some of Portland's best! -- and can perform as a duo, trio, quartet, quintet, or sextet, depending on the venue.
