Gallery Opening & Call for Musicians

As some of you know I recently started my own business providing market and management services to fine artists and musicians. And although this isn't jazz-related, I'd like to invite all of you the grand opening of a new gallery where some of the artists I represent will be on display. The gallery owner does happen to be a huge jazz fan though. This is not an official meetup event so it won't be hosted, but I will be there so stop by and say hi.

And for our musicians and performers in the group, they will have live music at the gallery opening and and are looking for performers for future events too. However, it would have to be a small band or solo artist. If you are interested in performing please send an email to jennifer@cuspassociation.com and include links to your work.

Come celebrate the premiere of the latest artwork from The Cusp Association artists at The Word is Art, the newest gallery to enter the Culver City art scene. This eclectic gallery showcases art in every flavor from paintings to handcrafted dolls to sculpture to jewelry and more. Discover a new artist and maybe even go home with some original art or pick up some unique gifts for the holidays. And enjoy free food, wine from Frey Vineyards (the first organic winery in the US with no pesticides or sulfates http://www.freywine.com/ ) and live music from Colombian artist Daniel Jimenez Afanador. Parking is available in nearby lots or on the street. Please note that the meters run until 8pm.
