Jesus Collective

Jesus Collective is much less a church and more of a family. We don’t belong to a cause; we belong to one another. And this “one another-ness” is more important than any organization or institution. We are a band of nobodies, nameless and faceless people, who are learning to follow Jesus.

We believe that the type of life our King Jesus came to give us is relational and organic. “Organic,” meaning that the product of our relationships, our love for one another, encourages growth and produces life.

It’s part of our DNA that we are not exclusive. We love to have people from everywhere come and collaborate with us. Our heart is that no one will find an individual that they can elevate, but they will see us all as one.

Being equal, being a “collective,” is more than a buzz word to us. It’s our ethos, our culture. When we gather, we encourage an atmosphere of freedom where each member of the family can freely express their heart, functioning under the leadership of Holy Spirit.

Living as a family can sometimes look messy or move slowly, but we’d rather be authentic than risk the chance of being fake or silencing any member of the family for the sake of an agenda.

Wherever we gather, we intentionally focus on the Person of King Jesus. As it was once said, “For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.” This love for Jesus massively affects our approach to being a family and motivates the way we do life.

We come from Minneapolis, and there we experiment and explore with members of the larger collective, learning together ways of building God’s kingdom through community and discipleship.

So come join us on this journey into the heart and mission of our King.
