Roller Skating at Hot Skates then Live Band Karaoke

I went roller skating at Hot Skates last Thursday and I had so much fun I decided to do it again. In fact, I didn't want to leave the rink.

So come join me for some great roller skating. Afterwards, its Live Band Karaoke at KJ Farrell' Bar and Grill in Bellmore for those who want to have a little more fun. It's an open skating session, so if you don't know anyone coming, bring a friend to be on the safe side. Just come planning to have a good time.

Hot Skates is a landmark Indoor Roller/Inline Skating facility that has been a fixture of fun on Long Island since 1980. The facility boasts a spacious maple wood skating surface, snack bar and game room. Bring your own skates or rent them. $15 total for admission and skates. Cash only.

Ample parking is provided and for those that use public transportation, Hot Skates! is easily accessible via the Lynbrook & Rockville Centre Long Island Railroad stations. So if you want to come from the city, just hop on the LIRR.

After skating, come be a rockstar for the night on a professional stage with a professional sound system, backed up by a live band. If you've never seen live band Karaoke, you'll have a great time. Karaoke runs from 10-2. If figure we'll head over there between 11 and 12. It is located at 242 Pettit Ave in Bellmore, NY. This is right at the Bellmore train station, so you can take the LIRR straight home after. Trains are pretty infrequent so watch the schedule. If you need a ride from Hot skates to KJ Farrell's, that probably won't be a problem.
