What aspects of Joseph Campbell's works interest you the most - myth, philosophy, art, ritual, psychology, metaphysics, hero cycles, story telling, anthropology, spiritual journeys, self-development, modern individualism etc

I'm mostly interested in how the modern life can be enriched by the study of the hero's journey and how it can be applied in the real world that we live in today.

What's your favourite Joseph Campbell book/film/lecture/interview?

Hard to choose (and it changes from day-to-day) but "Mythic Worlds, Modern Words" and "The Inner Reaches of Outer Space: Metaphor as Myth and as Religion" are always high on my list.

What is your favourite mythological character or topic?

The Odyssey, Odysseus & Athena

How did you hear about our group?

I've organised other Campbell groups in other locations and wanted to start up another group now that I've moved to Melbourne.

I've always been interested in mythology and was fortunate to have discovered Campbell's work as a teenager. Campbell's metaphorical analysis resonated with me and I've been studying his works ever since.
