What specifically draws you to this group?

I would like to be in the company of open-minded people who accept all people of all religions. Sometimes people think they are open-minded, but it seems that when people only hang out with other people who share their own ideas, they become less open-minded and less accepting of people who have views different from their own. To me, being open-minded means listening to ALL views on ALL topics - even those topics that may not be so comfortable for us. Sometimes being open-minded means being uncomfortable. And open-minded always means being accepting of another person's views and opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own views and opinions - at least in this country. No one is perfect in this way, yet we all need to keep trying to actually "be" more accepting of others. Just going through the motions of appearing to be accepting does not count.

What would you like to learn and discover in this group?

I would like to learn about who I am on a deeper level. I would also like to live my values.

I am a different kind of Christian. I believe that Christ was a good example of how to live - no matter whether you consider Him to be God or not. I enjoy hearing about His life & teachings in church. Those kinds of sermons inspire me.
