Journocoders workshop: Highcharting the election

The election has pushed this month's meetup back a bit, but should at least provide a wealth of interesting data. We'll being using a popular JavaScript library called Highcharts to quickly turn these data sets into web-based charts.

We'll be following this tutorial, a beginner's guide to Highcharts using election data (results and polls). If you have any cool data sets we could chart, please get in touch!

In terms of previous knowledge, only basic JavaScript knowledge is needed, though we highly recommend reading up on JavaScript objects beforehand.

Some days ago, I started to collect all data, visual and interactive projects which were made during last #GE2015
Here it is the list: https://goo.gl/DsaONb
I have to update it with more projects, but maybe you have some interesting links to add that I have missed. Feel free to do this, I have shared the spreadsheet.
It can be an interesting resource to comment on Thursday

Hi everyone! I've written the Highcharts tutorial for this month's meetup myself, as I couldn't find a good one. It's nearly finished and on github here if you want to have a read in advance: https://github.com/ejb/highcharts-tutorial/blob/master/tutorial.md

Ps. If you can no longer make Thursday night, please change your RSVP to free up space. Thanks!

Guys, sorry for using this space for it, but I need to find a 75' issue of Sunday Times to a piece I am colaborating with. Anyone here works there or has a tip to give me a clue about where I can do this kind of search in London? I need just one particular issue.

Hi Rachel, the Times Digital Archive covers 1785-2007. You can access it free through many London libraries - there's a list here: https://onlinelpl.word...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
