Journocoders workshop: BBC HTML5 video compositor

Details
This month we’ll be learning how to play around with video in HTML5. We'll be looking at an experimental video composition engine from the BBC's R&D division which lets you rearrange video in the browser and even produce dynamic greenscreen effects. PRETTY EXCITING, EH?
You can see the tutorial here (https://github.com/bbc/html5-video-compositor/blob/master/tutorial/tutorial.md).
Make sure to bring a laptop along (Mac or Linux machines are preferable, but Windows is ok too). In now-typical Journocoders style this will be a practical, hands-on workshop. No programming experience is required, but we strongly recommend having a grasp of HTML. Codecademy (https://www.codecademy.com/learn/web) can help with that.
Oh, and make sure to join the collaborative hackpad (https://journocoders.hackpad.com/Journocoders-March-2016-t92UTtfq1wj) for the event!
Schedule:
7.00: Doors open
7.30: Show & tell
7.40: Tutorial
9.00: The pub!
