August Meetup

UPDATE : We've had a few requests to move this to Wednesday as there is a clash with the AI meetup and others. Apologies for the late notice, extra beer!

Hi all,

We're back! With a templated format for future events. This will be a regular event on the second last week of each month, on a Wednesday night. If you want to present, please give Bradley or Len a shout.

There are 3 main slots, times are thereabout. First is a short lightning talk, which can be news, or general info. Easy to prep for!

Second is a more standard slide deck / live demo presentation. This can be a "How to" talk, a show and tell etc.

Last is a Q&A code review section. Here you can ask for practical help or advice. The aim is to show code and get feedback that can enhance everyones knowledge on how to approach design and implementation using a Node approach.

Agenda for August:

5-10 minute lightning talk (news, heard of a new library, node in prod etc). Please apply

20 minute presentation - Arjun on Promises in node.

30 minutes code review (open - questions on code you are writing, get feedback on some code)

Pizza and drinks will be provided by Entelect.
