Twelfth Annual Daniel Nimham Pow Wow

One of KEPRI's favorite summer events is the Daniel Nimham Pow Wow. It is a two day event where you will find no shortage of Native American culture, entertainment, and excellent family fun. Bring as many people as you want! Birds of Prey demonstration, storytelling, tribal dancing, and a salute to all veterans are among the many ways to enjoy your summer afternoon here.

KEPRI is proud to be a part of the festivities. This year we are excited to introduce our reptile education program! Making their debut will be a handful of live reptiles and invertebrates. We encourage you to stop by and get to know some of Mother Nature's most resilient creatures.

So come out, enjoy some fry bread, and HAVE FUN!

This was an incredible day. I was able to share it with my daughter. I have been to many PowWows...everyone here made you feel as if we are truly to be one people. The grace and power of the dancers and performers brought the true meaning of brotherhood/family/unity to light in the days events. I wish I had been able to thank each performer I met for the spirit they shared. For seeing those truly living the way our creator wants us to live. I will forever be moved.
