We had a change for our speaker. Thursday we now have Dan Loiacono who was the President of a well-known M&A firm in Kansas City. Dan started a new firm helping business owners prepare for an eventual transition of ownership. Dan works with business owners to provide clarity around goals, objectively assess the business within the context of current market conditions, and develop strategies to increase performance and value.

Dan is one of the founding owners and managing partner of Source Mechanical Services. This early-stage commercial HVAC service company has grown to approximately $1.5 million in annual revenues in lessthan 3 years and proudly serves a number of well-known companies in the KC Metro area with a growingteam of 10 employees.

Dan is a recognized speaker in the Kansas City area speaking on topics including, “How to Buy a Business”, “How to increase the Value of Your Business”, and “Transition Planning for the Business Owner” at organizations including The Kaufman Foundation, Kansas Women’s Business Center, Rockhurst University, and many local chambers and professional associations. Dan has also been a regular correspondent on the morning radio show “Inside the Boardroom with Mike Shanin” on KMBZ sharing entrepreneurial insight.
