David Hogue, Ph.D. on Research & Tour the New UX Lab at Cerner + Big Prize Night

Important! The event is free, but you need to register at Eventbrite.

I am hoping the people who RSVP'd here also did at Eventbrite. We are going off those numbers. We have 100 seats tops and first come first serve. Parking directions below.

Parking: Please enter the campus using the Marion Park Drive entrance. Check in at the Security gate upon arriving and identify yourself as attending the IxDA Meetup. The guard will guide you to the guest parking. A friendly Cerner associate will be waiting for you in the lobby.

Our June meeting will be in combination with ixDA KC on June 4th at Cerner. It will also be our semi-annual Big Prize Night, so be sure to be there. This year we will give the lucky winner a one year full membership to Creative Cloud.

Details:

Cerner is kindly hosting IxDA KC's next Meetup event, this time at its Innovations Campus where we'll be treated to an engaging discussion by David Hogue on one of the most critical and yet occasionally undervalued UX principles – interaction research – as well as an unprecedented tour of the brand new UX lab at Cerner. Anticipated UX research topics include:

* Researching optimal user interactions,

* Testing the learnability of a design,

* Researching with a limited (or no) budget,

* Measuring the success of a design,* ...and more!

Cerner is graciously providing IxDA with food and possibly even door prizes!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
