KU MapGive/OSM Mapathon

As part of the US State Department's MapGive initiative, KU will host a Mapathon at the Kansas Applied Remote Sensing Program (KARS) to map Punia in the Maniema province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has requested updated OSM data for this area, recent high resolution imagery for which is being made available through MapGive.
