What we’re about

Paddles are on the beautiful rivers, creeks and marshes of Cape Cod, from Sandwich to Eastham and will be less than 2 hours long.  Walks are in scenic areas from Barnstable to Provincetown and usually won't be over about 1 hour...and are always for you and your best canine friend.

Paddles are meant for experienced, energetic paddlers who want to, and are able to, keep up a good rate of speed for two hours (about 3.2 mph). You can join to only walk with us, but if you are not already a strong paddler who can keep up a good rate of speed, you can not RSVP for any paddles. Adults only.

Due to the terrain surrounding the water on which I choose to paddle, we frequently are not able to take a  break in the paddle, so you need to plan on being in your boat for the whole trip.

On most trips, you'll see no attempt to paddle with the current....my only concern is that we'll have enough water all the way out and back.

If you are a "No Show" for 2 events, you are automatically dropped from the group.

If strong wind or rain forces a cancellation,  I'll post it on the page of that event, and will have emailed everyone who RSVP'd "yes" to that event the evening before a cancelled paddle.  If you are vacationing on the Cape and don't have easy access to your email, make sure I have your phone number.

We kayak and walk from about mid-May until late September or early October. I paddle in Florida October through April.

In order to join the group, you must read the AWRL below. Then, when answering the required profile questions, you must say that you have read and agree with the following AWRL.   Each family member, each partner, each friend is going to have to join him or herself, so that they can read and agree to the waiver themselves. A waiver agreed to by one person can not legally cover guests who come to a paddle with that person....therefore, there are NEVER ANY guests on paddles. No exceptions.

Guests are always welcome on walks.
