During our last event the topic of confidence and its impact on our professional and personal selves- and ultimately the businesses we are leading was voiced in many contexts. This month we want to address the topic and empower our members to increase their confidence via a combined presentation and book discussion.

Kathryn Ross will be presenting "Confidence Compounded: Increasing Our Confidence as Women, as Entrepreneurs, as Women Entrepreneurs."

Her presentation will be based upon her personal experiences in the corporate world, as an entrepreneur, and the content of the book

The Confidence Code, The Science and Art of Self-Assurance (http://theconfidencecode.com)

by Katty Kay and Claire Shipman. The book is an "insightful look at how internalizing cultural stereotypes can hold women back from competing with men." While the book addresses the impact confidence on women's successes in the corporate world the concepts also apply to us as entrepreneurial leaders.

For the fullest experience, we encourage you to read the book in preparation for the evening; however, the presentation's message and take-aways are completely independent of reading the book.
