Program your Color Sensor (2nd Track)

The class:  In the previous class you built a color sensor.  It is time now to program your Arduino to interact with it.  You will learn the basics of sending signals out to illuminate LEDs, receiving analog signals to measure the light intensity.  You will need to decode the signals and decipher the correct color and illuminate a RGB LED with the results.

The Fee:  The fee includes all materials and components you will receive for the class.

Prerequisites: The previous class where you built the sensor.

Ages:  8-16

We won't actually be there but Adam can pick up any components for Gabe.

Do I need to pay for this class if I've already taken the first color sensor class?

Hi Theodore. Thank you for the question. Unfortunately yes, I will be charging a small class fee ($10-$15) and averaging the costs of the components over several classes. The first one was higher this time due to the Arduino and all other components. I'm not organizing these classes for profits, but ended up quite a bit up side down during the Spring. I'm OK with it, but going forward I'm trying to at least cover all the costs. Hope that makes sense. Thank you!
