This is an invitation to connect with your heart on Valentine’s Day. Whether you have a ‘sweetheart’ or not, take this special time to touch the nectar of your very own heart, through the blissful practice of chanting.
Kirtan is a call and response journey between the Kirtan leader [Nikki Slade] and the chanting group. The chant builds in energy and tempo throughout - with the melody from the harmonium and the steady rhythm of the drums - to reveal an experience that is like a sound meditation, and releases joy, upliftment and profound inner peace. Chanting removes the barriers to the heart and purifies restlessness in the mind and inner agitation to reveal the light of the inner SELF within the abode of the supreme heart.
Bring your ‘sweet heart’ with you and then why not carry the blissful ripples of your chanting into a romantic dinner after in the many choices of restaurant on the King’s Road in Chelsea. Whether you are single or attached, come to chant and BE YOUR OWN VALENTINE!
No experience is required, and you do not have to be a singer. All are welcome!
Latecomers welcome too.
