Knock the Block's Greet the Dawn and Write for the Day-A-Thon

Alright Ladies and Gents! Gather your gear, marshal your energy, garner your courage and prepare for the First Monthly Knock the Block Greet the Dawn and Write for the Day-A-Thon. Here's the lowdown before I go too much further:

For a little over three months we as a group have been meeting very consistently and steady, and have had a really good turnout overall every week. During those meetings we've learned a lot about each other, and through our various writing exercises we've got some of the littlest tastes of just how great each others writing is. Many of us I feel are really craving some real pen and paper (or fingers and keys) time however. I know this is definitely the case for me. I'm super pumped. Super excited and ready to start writing in a passionate writer's frenzy!

So heres the deal:

*I* am wanting to make the commitment to be at Strangebrew and writing, pretty much straight solid till the event ends. As necesity requires I will indeed be taking plenty of walking breaks, bathroom breaks, and if I or anyone else who attends wants, we can work food appropriately in the occasion too. No one other than myself, is required to be at this meetup the entire time. In fact, for most of you, I'm sure its a rather insane concept. For myself, I am way overdue a very productive day writing, and I want to crame as much literary abandon into the day as I possibly can.

So feel free to come out, early, late, or inbetween and you will definitely find me and whoever else is planning on coming to be there. Even if im the only one there, i will still, in fact, be there. hehe

But the more the merrier.

On the day of the event, i will update the event message board and let you know when i plan on not being there or if anything emergency wise comes up, but otherwise I should definitely be there, with knock the block signs and anyone is free to join me. We can write corporately, do writing exersizes, discuss our writing and help each other over hurdles, and of course, be quiet and let each other write!

IMPORTANT: If you are coming or thinking of coming, please go ahead and rsvp. It would be great if you know for a fact what general amount of time you think you might come,  and if you can even if its a guestimate, leave it in the rsvp comment section just so I have a general clue whose coming out so i can be sure to look out for you. But again, if you say you can come and dont end up coming, its no sweat...the write a thon shall continue, no matter how many people show up!

:) I hope to see as many of you there at some point who can come, but hopefully even if you cant make it out on saturday we will still have our regular meeting on Monday at 7. I will be posting further details about that shortly. Hope to see you there, and as always, WRITE ON!!!
