Barbara and all,
I've only just joined and been to one meet-up but had an absolute blast.
So my votes would be - 1) YES! Barbara, Please remain as the organizer.  2) Do NOT use FB., 3) Good idea on Tap Room - if you guys are truly there every Fri night I think they would get their money back in one night even if they paid the whole thing!  4) If they pay only half would everyone in the group be alright paying say $5 each or whatever it works out to just to keep this going?

Subject: [Krazy-for-Karaoke] Organizer Dues

Organizer dues need to be paid by 11/15. The amount is $72. I do not have the money to pay this. If we want this group to continue, we need to raise the money in the next two weeks. Steve mentioned getting the Tap Room to sponsor part of the dues.
So I have three questions:
  1. Do you want this meetup group to continue? A few people have suggested that we continue with this group through Facebook. Personally, I'm not willing to give that many people access to my fb page.
  2. Do you have any other suggestions how to raise the rest of the money?
  3. Do you want me to continue as the Organizer? I have enjoyed being the organizer and it's been great meeting so many new people but, I'm okay with turning this over to someone else. If so, then who would you like to recommend as Organizer?
