Two Part Outing - Birding Clinic and Hike Five Rivers Environmental Center

We are going to do something special with this outing.

Part One:  a Clinic at the store on birding essentials presented by Vinnie on Friday evening December 6 at 7:00 PM.  Bring your bird field guides if you have them.

Part Two:  A hike at Five Rivers on Sunday, December 8 at 10:00 AM to practice what we learned at the clinic Friday evening.  Bring your bird field guides and binoculars if you have them.

Now here is the special part....the clinic and the hike are not separate... if you sign up for the clinic you are also signing up for the hike.  Please do not sign up just to go on the hike, as we will be looking for birds more than hiking.  We will be learning pertinent information Friday night on birding that you will put into practice on Sunday.

No skills are needed to participate.

Five Rivers Environmental Education Center is a living museum comprising over 450 acres of broad fields, towering forests, and tranquil wetlands. So freezing rain has me staying in my neck of the woods tonight. I also would be interested if this was offered again; maybe in the spring...

I was looking forward to this, but it looks like the weather will be nasty tonight and I don't want to take the chance. Hope you offer this again!

I'm so sorry but something's come up and I won't be able to attend this weekend. I've changed my RSVP so someone from the waiting list can go.

I've done quite a lot of birding, and don't feel the clinic would be a benefit. Can I still go on the walk

I'm going to waitlist this activity in case I can do it!

I'm still not healthy 2 days in a row, so it'd be a crapshoot to plan on 2 days even though they're separated. My heart is there. If I know you'all, you'll probably offer it again.
