Peter Claes (https://www.linkedin.com/in/peter-claes-10a4854) is a CG Supervisor at Method Studios. He enjoys creating spectacular visual effects and leading teams of artists successfully through entire sequences of awe-inspiring effects shots with Houdini. He has a strong background in complex effects work and has worked on several major blockbusters and commercials. Peter is fascinated by the complexity of natural phenomena such as fire, smoke, rain, snow, explosions, organic growth and general procedural or fractal semi-chaotic animations. He is an expert in research and development of Houdini’s effects tools and devising workflows and strategies to tackle complex visual effects sequences.
