This is group which gathers to discuss topics in machine learning. This could be classification, clustering, neural networks, loss functions, graphical algorithms, information retrieval, data mining, artificial intelligence, search, game theory, computational learning theory, reinforcement learning, collaborative filtering, recommendation systems, bioinformatics, or really anything having to do with large scale data analysis and prediction.

The usual format is to select a topic and/or paper for members to read before the meeting to discuss. We might at a later point host several hackathons or have demos.

All levels welcome from beginners to research scientists. This is intended to be a very inclusive group.
