Inspiration and community.
Hmmm, the one that I wanted to do but never got around to is a real-time signal processor with microphones mounted on headphones that you wear around in the world. It samples the sounds around you and mixes them into something new. Even the simplest trick of reverse panning would make the world a lot more interesting and dangerous, and that's just the beginning. :)
Two main projects are Chiclet/SynDevKit (a hardware and software platform for ADSP-218x DSPs for experimenting with audio synthesis and writing music) and PSPSeq (a homebrew synthesizer/sequencer for the Sony PSP). I'd love to do more.
Software engineer with a lot of passion (but sadly not a ton of time) for music and creative uses and abuses of technology.
