Web Development in a Nutshell

Drinks will be served.

What's web development all about? Ever wonder what is the difference between front-end and back-end? Java vs. Javascript? We're going to define these programming languages and show examples of each in action. We'll also discuss resources available to get started as a web developer.

This class provides an overview and examples of:
-Developer's vocabulary - what you need to communicate effectively.
-Understand the role of HTML and CSS.
-Resources to help you learn how to code.

After the talk, our discussion will be fueled with Q&A from the audience. So come with questions!
