Join us for the launch of our Women In Tech Network quarterly series featuring women in startups and tech. We kick off with LA's first-ever all-women panel of angels and VCs! Our panelists will discuss how they find and discover new startups, what they are looking for; and levels of investment. We will also discuss trends in LA startups, and hear from new investors to the area: Why LA?

Pilar Stella - Alchemy P4 Fund
Pilar Stella is the Cofounder and Managing Director of Alchemy P4 Fund, woman-innovated investment fund using EB-5 Funds to invest in real estate and high growth start ups to create jobs, mitigate risk and maximize returns. She has written for Forbes.com, Women 2.0, is an author on conscious business and life, and is a yogi and surfer. She is passionate about seeing more women entrepreneurs succeed and supporting more women to become investors.

Renee LaBran - Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners Renee LaBran brings 25 years of operating, strategic, and financial experience to Rustic Canyon/ Fontis Partners, LP, where she is a Partner. Ms. LaBran has also been a Partner with Rustic Canyon Partners, an early stage venture capital firm, since helping to form the firm in 1999. Prior to Rustic Canyon, Ms. LaBran held a variety of executive positions with the Los Angeles Times/ Times Mirror in the areas of digital media, advertising sales, investments, and strategic planning. During her tenure, she managed revenues in excess of $300 million and oversaw more than 200 employees. She was also a co-founder and served as Chief Executive Officer of CareerPath.com (now CareerBuilder), and a co-founder and board member of Classified Ventures. Prior to Times Mirror, Ms. LaBran was a management consultant with the Monitor Company in the United States and Europe and managed its Los Angeles office.
Victoria Cheng - Core Innovation Capital Victoria Cheng is an investment professional at Core Innovation Capital, where she invests in financial technology start ups that focus on serving the Emerging Middle Class. Prior to Core Innovation Capital, Victoria worked with venture capital firms, NYC Seed, Foundation Capital and Investor Growth Capital. She has worked with early stage technology companies from seed to growth equity. Earlier in her career, Victoria was an investment banker at Citi, where she advised clients on initial public offerings, private placements, debt issuances, joint ventures and M&A transactions. Following Citi, Victoria worked at H.I.G. Capital, a middle market private equity firm, where she was responsible for screening, due diligence and portfolio management.
Alyse Killeen - Clearstone Venture Partners Alyse Killeen is an Early Stage investment professional at Venture Capital Partners and a current investor on the Clearstone Global Gaming Fund Team. She is responsible for Operations and strategy support of portfolio companies. Clearstone Venture Partners was founded in 1997, and has been one of the most active venture firms in Southern California. It is the second largest firm in Los Angeles by AUM. Highlights of past investments include PayPal, Overture, United Online, Apture, Meru Networks, and MP3.com.
Alexa Fischer - Correlation Ventures
Alexa Fischer supports the firm’s sourcing, investment, and analytics activities. Prior to joining Correlation, Alexa worked as an Analyst at Harlingwood Equity Partners, where she performed industry research related to potential M&A, buyout, private placement, and investment opportunities.
Eva Ho - Susa Ventures
Eva Ho was on the founding team of Applied Semantics (acquired by GOOGLE in 2003 for $102 Million - Applied Semantics became AdSense) and Factual with a deep background in data-heavy businesses. She also founded Navigating Cancer and is an advisor to Crowdfunder, Common Crawl, Web FWD, NewMe, MuckerLab. Eva is currently an active Angel Investor.
