The weather is looking great for the trip this weekend. There is some
rain forecast this week, but doesn't look like it will be heavy enough
to adversely affect the currents in the river.
Since the campsites are a first-come first-served basis, I plan to go to
the campground in the morning around 10a (probably before that). I'll
try to grab the "rally" campsite if it's still available, if not I'll
try the walk-in campsites. If you have trouble picking me out of the
crowd when you get there, call my cell[masked]-5705.
For those of you with cars and not transporting your own kayak, there's
no need for you to take your car to the put-in, you can come straight to
the campsite and carpool to the put-in. We'll all meet at the put-in at
about 11a, drop off the kayaks, then take all of the cars back to the
campsite, and take as few cars as possible back to the put-in. The
take-out will be at the campsite.
In case you didn't notice, I updated the meetup page with directions to
the campsite and access sites.
Now I'm counting down the days. It looks like it's going to be a great
time, with a great group of people!
