Italian, French, Mexican
Hmmm. Hard to decide. It's always based on a a mixture of food & dining companion(s). But some meals that really stick in my mind are the meals I have had in NYC sitting at the bar ....often the best place and the most coverted seat in restaurants such as Gramercy Tavern, Babbo, or the relatively new Manzo at Eataly, the newish artisanal Italian Wine and Food Marketplace there. These expereinces really can't be beat. It's often hard to get a seat but it's well worth the wait. You meet so many interesting seat mates and the waiter/bartenders are usually so knowledgable and involved. All in all it's a really interesting dining experience.
Pretty much self taught with a few classes in Chicago. Got out of college not knowing how to even scramble an egg. Unbelievable to me now. But I like to eat well and love to entertain so I was highly motivated. Love to read cookbooks and also love to grill.
Love to cook and love to dine out !
I think it's great. Sally is charming.
