LADOTNET April Event: Top Bugs To Avoid in C# by Eric Lippert

Top Bugs To Avoid in C#

In this session we’ll explore the most common defects in C# code and steps developers can take to find and fix them within Visual Studio or as part of a centralized build. We’ll examine resource leaks, guarded by violations and more in popular open source C# projects. We’ll discuss best practices implementing static analysis within your development process without slowing teams down or getting in the way.

Eric Lippert is an expert in C# and a Senior Architect at Coverity where he works on the C# analysis team.  Prior to joining Coverity in January 2013, Eric spent 16 years at Microsoft and was most recently a Principal Developer on the C# compiler team focused on Roslyn, and a member of the C# language design team. Eric is a prolific blogger and author of several books.

BLANKSPACES is located at 5405 Wilshire Blvd. The building is on the corner of Wilshire and Cloverdale. The main entrance is on the Cloverdale side.

There is usually street parking available near BLANKSPACES, and also two public lots close by:  on Cloverdale, south of Wilshire and on Wilshire, east of Cloverdale

There will be a $5.00 donation ($10 for recruiters) at the door to cover food and drinks.

It was very fun and informative. Eric ran it like a game show. That kept everyone engaged. Good job Eric and your team.
