Coffee Tasting at Intelligentsia (Silverlake)

As food bloggers I'm sure we've all sat at the coffee shop with a cup of joe and a piece of pastry of some sort typing away at our newest, tastiest, most mouth-watering blog post, but do you know how to taste your coffee? Where it came from? What pairs best with it? The difference between espresso and a drip?

Come get a coffee high with us! We've scheduled a private group tasting with one of the leading coffee purveyors, Intelligentsia Coffee, to teach us about coffee, how to taste it, and what to pair it with. Because as food bloggers, we spend much time hacking at our computers at coffee shops and we simply can't be caught with a lemon bar paired with a Sumatra blend.

Intelligentsia is committed to making coffee accessible and approachable. They ethically source all their beans, roast, and produce the perfect cup of coffee.

We've negotiated a discount with Intelligentsia for our bloggers for half-off the regular fee of $20 for tastings.  So show your readers what you've tasted and learned, and don't forget to bring your cameras!

Price: $20 50% off for LA Food Bloggers! +.61 paypal charge = $10.61

Attendence: For optimal experience, Intelligentsia only offers this class to groups of 5.  If we get enough interest, we will schedule more classes in the future. See you there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
