Saturday Training Classes (CGC Based)

This class is a group oriented class.  You are welcome to check out our classes or make this your regular training class.  This class will focus on obtaining your Canine Good Citizen certification.  You are welcome to attend and if you would like to take your CGC the cost is $50.  We will have CGC elvalutations at certain intervals throughout the year.

Members that have already obtained their CGC are welcome to come and work on keeping their dogs training up on a regular basis every week.  This class is offered to beginner to intermediate including aggressive and selective behaviors.

Members can pop in for a class at their leisure for $10 per class.  If you want to make this a regular training session for you and your Pit you can buy a one year training membership for $150 and that entitles you to unlimited training classes through LARPBO (this does not have to be paid all at once we can do monthly installments at $12.50 per month).

We look forward to seeing you and your Pit.

Hi everyone. I was mountain biking a trail in Thousand Oaks when I was attacked by a pit bull. The wound was substantial, and the owner fled the scene. The owner was in his 60s, 5'10, short gray hair, strong build. The pit bull (male) was a mix, tan coat with no markings, not a pup but not old. Easily 100 pounds, very strong dog.

Sorry to inundate this event with a negative post, but I would appreciate anyone's help tracking him down. I love dogs, and have a ton of respect for anyone who invests real time and love into a relationship with a dog. This was in Lynn Ranch by the Lynmere Estates. Any help at all would be much appreciated.

      Hi Alexander,

I’m so sorry to hear you were attacked. I hope you’re healing and doing better.

We’ll spread the word and see if anybody has seen a dog and owner of your description in that area. This is definitely not one of our members, but we tend to be aware of pit bulls in our neighborhoods (and are especially aware of owners who aren’t exhibiting responsible behavior – like letting their dogs chase and hurt people on bikes).

Again, I hope you’re doing better.

      Best,

      Megan U.

I am sorry but we won't be able to make it tomorrow. More broken pipes in our yard due to tree root damage :/

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
