Welcome! to the Lake County Social Media Group
The purposes of this Meetup group is to educate the public in the tools and resources available in the Social Media Space on the Internet, and bring people together face-to-face. Online resources like Twitter, Squidoo, Skype, Jott and Aardvark, among many others, can be extremely beneficial to small businesses and nonprofit organizations...once you learn how to use them. In fact, a computer can become a wonderful automated virtual assistant that never tires, once you learn how to properly optimize its operation on your behalf. The workshops we have will provide lecture and hands-on instruction.
People who attend these workshops are encouraged to bring their laptops and log in to our WiFi.
Anyone interested in learning more about social media and optimizing their business presence there should plan to attend future workshops.
