Biomedical Informatics and Analytics is a relatively new area of R&D that makes use of promising future and contemporary technologies, e.g., Genome, Cloud Computing, Big Data, AI, etc. Healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, and many public and private sector organizations are interested in solutions that explore predicting impending diseases to avoid costly management costs after the onslaught of actual diseases, as in cancer. This lecture is about exploring the Biomed landscape and promising breakthrough ideas to improve the quality and reduce the cost of healthcare.

About the Speaker

Dr. Roshan Shaikh is currently heading AIMS ( http://aimedicalsolutions.com/ ). He is also the Director (R&D) at Aisoft Inc. ( http://aisft.com/ ).

Additionally, he is working towards his second doctoral degree, as a post doctoral project in Cyber Security, at PACE University, New York. He has a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence and a vast training and consulting experience of several years in IT, Education, and advanced research projects. His current projects include, Biomed Informatics, Cyber Security, Blended Education.
