Hike the newest DCR trail - The Blue Heron!

Ready for an Easy Challenge?

Join L.L.Bean Dedham Outing Club for a 10-mile EASY hike of the DCR's newest trail! The Blue Heron trail runs through Millenium Park in Roxbury and Cutler Park in Newton, following the Charles River Basin. This is an easy 10-mile hike following established paths, with some road walking on each end. This is a longer hike, so please bring plenty of food and water.

We'll meet in the parking lot at the top of Millenium park and start our hike north through Brook Farm. There are plenty of places to jump off the trail in the event that you do not want to do the full loop. We expect to be back in Millenium park by 2pm, at an easy walking pace!
