Do you know of a good place to get the organic-natured, high-quality products that you want to use with your clients? Would you believe that making your own massage products is actually very simple and will usually cost you a fraction of the price of store bought lubricants?

At this meetup, member Jamie Schab, LMT, (https://www.meetup.com/LVMTgroup/members/7614252/) owner of LV Healer Massage Therapy (http://www.lvhealer.com) is going to introduce you to a way of assuring your products are up to your standards of production. She has put together a fun and effective demonstration on how to make your very own hand crafted massage therapy lotion/oil at home using commonly available herbs, oils, kitchen tools and lotion making products and you can customize your homemade massage lotion with essential oils to your heart’s content!

A hands-on exer http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/6/7/event_28682151.jpegcise of the process will be covered, and participants are welcome to bring their own empty lotion bottles to fill or to buy pre-filled bottles of the finished product which will be available for sale: 4 ounce pre-filled bottles of lotion are $3 and 6 ounce pre-filled bottles of lotion are $5.

Jamie will be providing handouts of her recipes and ingredients. In addition to the demonstration there will also be a short lecture on the benefits of making your own massage lotion, detailing the cost savings compared to buying pre-made products online. Please remember to bring paper and a pen.
