I was always an athlete my entire life, but after I had my daughter, I found myself overweight and tired after gaining 70 lbs! Running got me through my weight gain and back to my old self. I also have found running to be a great outlet for work and everyday stress. My goal is to bring together beginner, seasoned, and recreational women/mom runners in the Collegeville, PA area. I want it to be a broad range of women who run 7 minute miles to those on a run/walk program. Every runner started somewhere and I want the more seasoned runners to share their wealth, and in turn maybe meet a couple other faster runners with whom they can train. I want the beginner runners to ask questions, learn, and become motivated from those more advanced. I want other women and moms to experience the joy of running. I hope to enroll as many women as possible, share some runs, laughs, coffee, playdates, and some races! I can not wait to meet all of my new running partners!
