This event is free to attend and open to all who are interested (women, men and students in the tech, design, digital, web, marketing or communications fields). Please RSVP to save the date and hold your spot as food and drinks will be provided by our generous sponsor Olio Digital Labs (https://oliodigitallabs.com/).

Our November event will feature a speaker presentation by Jonathan Kochis and will also include some extra time for mingling with industry peers.

A Practical Approach to User Research featuring Jonathan Kochis:

Designing things for ourselves is hard. It's easy to look for inspiration in the wrong places and make assumptions based on what we think we know as professionals. It's also easy to bump this kind of work down in priority when faced with other deadlines.

The latest version of the Res site is just about to launch. Sites like this are important, but why? To whom? What should they be doing and saying?

In this transparent talk Jonathan will share how (just enough) research informed the direction of the new site, what the team learned through the process, and why certain decisions were made.
