April blogger meetup

Something hinky was going on with Meetup last  month, so I was unable to schedule a meeting, but we should be back on track now. According to the calendar, spring has sprung. To folks tidier than yours truly, that means it is time for Spring cleaning. Has your blog gotten messy over the last year? Do you have blog posts that haven't be properly tagged or categorized? Do you have spam comments to clean out? Are your social media links current? Have you checked your analytics lately? Are there other things you could do to organize things more efficiently?

Let's talk about ways to tidy up your blog to make things easier for you and your readers. And if that doesn't strike you as an exciting topic, you are welcome to bring up any other issues or questions, be they relating to content or technology. I hope to see you there!

The location:
The Barking Spider Tavern is in the heart of University Circle. If the weather is nice we'll sit outside, if not we'll sit in the back room.

Here are a few things to know:

The Spider doesn't sell food, but you can bring your own pizza or snacks (excluding chips and pretzels, which they do sell.)
They offer an array of beverages including beer, wine, pop, juice, coffee, tea, iced-tea and bottle water. Please don't bring your own coffee.

There is a new parking lot on Bellflower behind the Spider. Look at this Google map for parking options. (You can park in the Coffeehouse lot.)

The Barking Spider is cash only, but they have an ATM in the back room. Wifi is available through Case Western Reserve University using the username and password "caseguest."

We hope to see you there!

    Hi everyone,
I went to this tavern yesterday a tad early (5:30ish), but hung out till 6:30 and never saw/found anyone, so I left. Did anyone/everyone attend, and I just missed you?!

I sent it using Meetup's email system so that probably forwarded it to your Yahoo acct.

Hey everyone! I'll probably attend, mainly because it's on my way home today anyway. But I probably won't stay long! (If for some reason the event is cancelled, could someone call/text me at[masked]?!)

Barring a tsunami or something equally unlikely we should be going on as planned. But if Lake Erie should erupt unduly I'll text you!

At least you're keeping busy. We'll have to catch up one of these days. It has been way too long.

I'll be late but I'll be there!

Excellent. We're informal so late isn't a problem. Given the weather it looks as though we'll be in the back room.
