Hello. Dalam meetup kali ini bakal ada 2 presentasi, in no particular order:

Intro to Network Concurrency Abstractions Furnished by an Early 21st Century Operating System -- Dicky Arinal

"Lambda had previously delivered a mind-blowing meetup about concurrency from the perspective of definitions, models and languages. One of the topic we'd discussed was differences between concurrency and parallelism. Now let's discuss that very same topic but with different perspective (and hopefully easier) namely: how things really work internally, starting from the CPU abstractions up until POSIX system calls. To put it in different ways, previous topic talked about what is run versus what is walk, now the talk would be: "that is leg, and that is how it's functioning. Whether that is run or walk? Don't know, don't care".
DetailsLayer of abstractions which will be peeked:- CPU, instruction set (yes, we just talk about registers, assembly, interrupts, and ring levels, forget about digital gates or transistors)- C language and tools (GNU toolchain, what is linkers, compilers, linker scripts, build scripts)- OS (from kernel perspectives: virtual memories, schedulers, processes, threads, system calls, i-nodes)- POSIX system calls (OS from user perspectives, socket, file, select, epoll)"
