This talk gives you gentle intro to type system works!
4. How QuickCheck Saved You From Losing Your Most Precious Digital Assets (Abdullah)
Abstract: Imagine waking up one day to discover that your gmail is blank. And your gdrive too. All your most valuable data is gone! And then you wake up. The nightmare is real, but only in a parallel universe where a real-life hero named Joe did not debug a crucial piece of Google open-source database code. Joe used QuickCheck technology to discover a really subtle bug that ordinary testing methods wouldn't discover. QuickCheck generates more tests than any testing team can write. Once it finds a bug, it shrinks the testcase to the smallest size that still produces the bug. Truly, QuickCheck skills turn an average dev into that mythical 10x dev. Best of all, writing testing code becomes amaze fun!
