Web Frameworks (Luminus)

How to get to Inovacentrum:

The building is the first of three buildings in the complex of CTU buildings with same address (one of which is Billa, the other is the big Blue CTU building).

The building is small and is yellow/green colored from the front, light blue from sides. And the entrance is right at the crossing of streets Šolínova and Jugoslávských partizánů (http://goo.gl/maps/cIHOj its blue on this map even from the front side). Should you need help finding it, ping me at[masked] and I will help you in.

The main talk of the evening will be followed by a series of lighting talks. A lighting talk is a short talk, 5-10 minutes, 1-2 slides. It is a place where you can share your ideas. What you are working on right now? Have you found an interesting project you would like to share?

The main topic of the meetup evening will be "Web and functional languages". You can describe how you use Haskel on the web, show us your favorite Scala tools or finally explain me what is this FRP really about :)

Please post your ideas about lighting talk topics. Short talk is easy to prepare and will make the evening interesting for everybody.

    Hi Clojurians ;),

sorry for hijacking, but it's a little bit on-topic..

Interesting announcement timing. I've finally started to play with Haskell and Yesod. 2 days ago I've pushed my first 0.0.O version to GitHub - more at https://github.com/mkrauskopf/ouch-web#readme . So far the goal is rather selfish :) - learning and playing with technologies (until I get more useful project idea).

To the point: we talked on one of the previous meetups that it would be nice to have something we could work on together (which is always more fun then alone). So if you are at least a bit interested and would like to co-learn and co-developer ouch-web (or you have another similar idea and would like to share its development), please let me/us know. I'm classifying myself as beginner Haskeller and even more so Yesoder.

See you on some Lambda meetup or in a pub working on "our" project :)

    Cheers,
    - m.

PS: project's point is really to play with Haskell technologies rather then Chemistry

It's great to see Clojure meetup again! Last two meetups helped me a lot to start my own Clojure journey. :)

    Some lighting talk ideas:
    - Emacs/Vim for Clojure development
    - REPL workflow
    - Most weird Clojure error messages :)
